An opening day record crowd of 80,227 is on hand at Mile High Stadium in Denver to witness Bryn Smith's pitch to Montreal Expos leadoff hitter Mike Lansing. The pitch is a ball, but thats about the only bad news this day as the Rockies go on to beat the Expos 11-4. A great moment in sports.
