Welcome to the wonderful world of Baseball. I'm sure you heard this story many times before and maybe it happened to you. Born in Brooklyn I spent alot of time in Ebbets Field with the Dodgers of the late 40's and the 50's. Baseball was everything then. One Monday in the summer of 1952 myself and four of my friends hopped a bus to Shore Road where many of the Dodgers lived. We knocked on Peewee Reese's door and he came out and we took pictures with him. He seemed so happy to see us. The next house we went to was Duke Snider's His wife answered the door and called him, he came out to see us and we took more pictures. We went to other houses like Clide King's. His wife said he was in the park with their daughter. We went to the park and saw him. We all went back to their homes the following Monday and they signed the pictures we took the week before. The following year after the Dodgers won their first World Series disaster happened, they mooved to Los Angeles. All of Brooklyn swore off Baseball forever . Many years passed and along came the 1986 Mets, and Baseball was back in my life again. Painting Baseball pictures is like getting paid for eating ice cream.
